Japanese ones are overrated imo the refrigerated food sucks it's all way too salty, oden is cool I guess but you need to understand a bit before you can order it, onigiri is boring, and the cashiers are required to bow when they hand you their change and mutter three whole sentences about how happy they are that you chose to shop at their store. Family Mart has better hot food and a better atmosphere.

That said the ATMs are a godsend and no cheap booze stateside will ever compare to Strong Zero.
