Why haven't you taken the goatpill yet, /ck/? Goat meat really is GOAT.

Eat goat about as often as chicken. It's not as versatile as beef. No marbling so it's not great for roasts or steaks and will require marinades and tenderizing. Half beef, half goat mince is great for meatballs, meatloaf, and bolognese.

Goat has that rich flavour that goes great with slow-cooked dishes like stews and curries. If you've got the setup, goat ribs are amazing smoked or grilled.
I don't know much about Houston, but usually you can get it at any butcher that calls itself a "halal butcher", especially Afghan ones. It's popular with Jamaican communities, too, if you know of any of those.
