Why are eggs so unsatisfying? I just ate 4 of them and I'm still just as hungry as I was before.

I also find eggs unsatisfying, that's why I am gay (unironically).

Sperm is much tastier.

Eggs from the supermarket are shit and less satisfying than eggs from legitimate, self certified, free range birds.

Pic related: You can tell the difference between cafo chickens and free range birds. I have seen these chickens in person, they are not supplemented marigold. All they eat is cracked corn and whatever they forage.

true
when i had chickens their eggs were more substantial.
the supermarket eggs just seemed like water in comparison
well if you can get over wiping the shit off the shells, as well as dealing with the occasional rotten egg/exploded fetus from a chicken fight, its worth it

You only ate 4 that's probably it and try to get eggs from other sources than your local supermarket, "real" eggs from someone that has chicken is really great whereas the ones you buy from a store is often kind of meh or pretty tasteless but hey it's protein

Oh i have 12 ducks. I am used to their nasty wet shit eggs.
Also my duck eggs are the best. Even better than both the eggs shown.

It takes a while to hit you
I used to eat like 6 eggs for breakfast a day, I'd always still feel hungry right after eating them, but in like half an hour or so after it really starts to digest, your body realizes "damn that was more food than it looked like" and you feel full.

oh boy here we go.

egg producers in every country (and even in local regions) carefully control the diet of their chickens in order to get the color of eggs that the locals expect. they do this by adding or limiting the amount of beta carotene in the chicken feed. THAT'S IT THAT'S ALL!

In some countries they expect blood red eggs, in other countries everyone thinks a yellow or orange egg is a sign of icky chemicals and won't eat them so they make egg yolks that are white.

here in the US people expect yellow to orange and that's what they get.

I personally have had eggs produced by my brother who fed his chickens: feed, let them eat bugs in the yard, and carrot peels (on my request) we got dark orange yolks. then I compared those to store bought eggs. There was almost no discernible difference in taste. The store bought eggs seem to have a slightly stronger flavored yolk, but they both tasted the same.

Don't give me the ol' "you have no sense of taste" you don't know me.

BULLSHIT supermarket eggs are precisely controlled to present a color that is acceptable to most people in whatever country you are in. They can make them as dark or as light as you want. all they have to do is change the chickens diet slightly and add more or less beta carotene.

breh
the eggs are different. the albumen is even of different consistencies. and your own chickens eggs will have yolks that hold their shape better.

you denatured the proteins by cooking it.
to get the most satisfying egg you separate the yolk and the white and wait 30 minutes between eating the two so they don't mix in your stomach.

If you've ever handled eggs you can tell a malnourished egg before you even crack it. Thinner shells are from less healthy hens. The shell that breaks extremely easily isn't as nutritious as a shell that resists cracking

Boil them. They'll make you feel full easier.
Or whip them with milk and mix them with things like onions, peppers, bacon, cooked rice and more until you have that pan full to the brim.
