Have some bone in pork chops in the sous vide right now. Going to sear them off and then make a apple butter sauce. Poached asparagus and some mashed taters to finish it off.

I really was considering some mustard. I just got two new jars. I grabbed a few slices of bread and tried it. it's very good though I might have gone a little bit heavy on the mustard for the amount of food

it's a tiny slice of a sub roll, not a slice of bread. if pickles ever were to get that large they take on unpleasant qualities. you really should avoid larger ones because they were harvested late and they're watery

the first pic is a tiny slice of a sub roll, not a slice of bread. the second is a pretty thin baguette I have to slice diagonally to get reasonably sized pieces. if pickles ever were to get that large they take on unpleasant qualities. you really should avoid larger ones because they were harvested late and they're watery

depends how charred they are. i have a hard time believing cooking with chicken that they would eventually be neutralized enough.

>> No.15074072

>>15073602
In the past I have made it with ranch, but I wanted to try it with blue cheese, since that is more "traditional" and I like to learn about food styles by eating more traditional preparations before riffing on them. So I gave it a go and desu, the tang of the blue cheese works really nicely with the tang of the Buffalo sauce. I'd go so far as to say it basically neutralizes the really funky overtones of the blue cheese. I don't dislike blue cheese but it also can be a little much for me at times, and I thought this worked pretty well. Would eat again / 10
