It is a little ridiculous how much they use this sound effect. In general I hate the way that Ramsay's US shows play shit up for drama constantly and I say this as an Amerifag. Just compare the US/UK versions of Kitchen Nightmare's 2 entirely different shows with the UK version being much longer single takes with him usually just talking to the owners. Then the US version is all cut up with dramatic music constantly playing up arguments or Ramsay getting pissed.

I think it's so ham-handedly applied it's funny. That, the ironic editing, the overuse of soundbites, everything. It's so stupid it amuses me.

I kind of wish they would actually show like the actual god damn cooking process maybe not so much for their regular everyday menu all the time but for the challenges and shit, the actual cooking just falls by the wayside so that they can focus on them crying and doing BTS commentary when gordon gives their dish one star and then get into drama fights with their teammates.

Also, isn't mostly everyone just sort of autistic? There's always like the girls with enough tattoos and piercings to make a Suicide Girl jealous, guys who immediately think that they're being bullied and singled out by their team or on the other hand the one guy who pretends to be a leader after Gordon yells at them and then immediately just falls apart, the like 30 something year old fat bitch who's clearly still a virgin, the girls who thinks she's hot when she's really not, the one girl that's just needlessly mean to everyone, etc.
