HELP! I'M A FILTHY CHEESE ADDICT!!
I recently bought a chess grater meaning I can now buy cheeses that aren't just sliced american Kraft. I love it. BUT I EAT THE WHOLE THING IN A DAY, it's just so good.

Today I bought gouda and made an omelette and a grilled cheese with it. It had such an intense flavor though. I can feel it calling me. I don't have the willpower, I need to go bite into it good lord

Dunno. The maker, ford farm, is from some area of Britain called Dorset. I imagine it's common around UK and maybe in Europe.
I found it at this supermarket chain that sells all kinds of delicacies from around the world, but I'm not from Europe or America. Cheese made with rennet isn't even really allowed here.

Any anons have tips on how to keep cheese from getting moldy in the fridge? I wash my hands thoroughly before handling but I can rarely get more than a week out of a block of cheese if it's not something really dry and hard. I've tried wrapping the blocks in paper and putting it in a plastic bag but it doesn't seem to help.

I feel like these are "nutty" to use a buzzword and this is my favorite kind. Blue and washed rind is fine.
