If you want something great with minimal effort, do stew. All you gotta do is sear beef tips then throw everything (taters and carrots, you can do small red taters and baby carrots with maybe some pre minced onion for extra minimal effort) together in a crock pot for a few hours. Fix and forget and it turns out great.
