I have a mini waffle maker and I love it, my favorite waffles to make are corn waffles. My waffle maker makes my waffles look like skulls. I make them in batches and freeze them and reheat them as I need them. Best $10 I ever spent.

I bought one for $9 recently and I made waffles with it once while I was cooking other stuff in the kitchen. it's very easy to use and pretty fun, but it is not a fast way to make waffles. by the time the fourth one comes out, the first one will be cold. it's easy enough to stir some batter up in a cup and keep an eye on the waffle maker while you're doing other stuff in the kitchen.

get a thin waffle one. i got a belgian one and no matter what recipe i use, yeast, baking powder, soda, corn starch, gluten free, brioche, wet batter its never as crispy as i want it and if it is, it's dried out inside.

If you plan on eating waffle almost every day, sure. They are just pancakes so I would rather just eat pancakes instead of filling my home with another appliance.

Turn the oven on to 200 degrees and place the cooked waffles in it to keep them warm. You can even put a ceramic plate in there and basically plate your dish as you are cooking, just let it heat up with the oven so thermal shock doesn't break it.

These are for single people.
Multiperson households generally get a larger waffle iron, or pony up the extra $9 for a second one of these, if they like little waffles.

Baking a waffle and eating a waffle take about the same amount of time, and it is pretty standard to eat as you go, or serve as you go ("who's ready for another waffle?")

I put them straight in the freezer so it's no big deal. I wanted to try to use them for breakfast sandwiches. they toast up fine. I just think it's annoying how long it takes to do this one at a time. it took me probably 30 minutes to cook a single batch of batter.

Nah, sold 3 of them to a local guy for $350 total.

I kept the best looking one for myself, but I have no plans to use it. They're just not all that great compared to a modern waffle iron. They look great though, and since I have a fair amount of Griswold as it is, figured i'd keep one for the collection.

I wasn't saying I didn't need two of them, I was just trying to advise on it. the smallest batch of batter you can make using one egg is 8 waffles and at 4 minutes each plus a bit of change to let the thing warm up between them you're looking at 45 mins to an hour. I think it's a fun little gadget but I'd definitely try to find a waffle maker with a plate to make four small ones at once if I really cared
