I didn't know that my favorite pizza was actually Roman style until I was 20. internet was not nearly as big back then so I always assumed it was neapolitan. such a disappointing style. the edges of the crust arw always nice and blistered but the actual base of the pizza is soggy and depressing. they get credit for creating the pizza but Rome (and then NYC) made it so much better.
