Pancakes, eggs, sausage/bacon, and a startch like toast or hash browns is the ideal breakfast for me. Basically the southern breakfast that many american diners replicate. It reminds me of my mother's cooking and the good times before my father became a depressed alcoholic.

In 7th grade my homeroom teacher would make bacon egg and cheese sandwiches for the whole homeroom every so often. I had never had one before.

I eat one large meal a day and it's usually right after work because I work so early. It consists of a smoothie:
2 bananas
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup whole milk
And a plate of:
1 six ounce ham steak
3 eggs
2 slices multigrain toast
1/8 stick butter split between the eggs and toast
It's around 1200 calories, 50 g protein and 25 g dietary fiber split about half soluble and insoluble. It goes well with my protein bar breakfast and can of deenz lunch. Have had to rebuy smaller jeans and belt twice in the last year. I'm in better shape now than 20 years ago (I'm 41). But I also have an active job now.

For me it's 4 eggs, a whole bell pepper chopped and pan fried, 6oz shaved steak and a side of oatmeal with banana, blueberries, cinnamon, and oat milk. Favorite meal of the day and feels so good after that fasted morning gym session
