I don't like tony chachere's, I prefer Russell's Original Blend. Zatarain's or Paul Prudhomme's Magic Creole seasoning is even better than Tony's.

this stuff is just wrong and I don't like the gimmick. It's trashy. It's still better than Tony Chachere's though.

they are spice blends, and yes they do have salt in them, not as much of a seasoned salt as something like lawrey's. You can get some of them in salt free versions. The Paul Prudhomme salt free is the best.

it's not a publix brand, it's from a company in Louisiana that grows and sells rice. We use greek seasoning, when not using creole seasoning, a lot in louisiana for some reason. I prefer Konriko to Cavender's, although both are good.

All made with relatively common spices that most cooks should already have. Unless you batch cook something that needs that seasoning blend (such as being a small restaurant who does "seasoned" fries"), there is zero reason to buy this shit other than being a rube.
>>14884833
At least this has celery seed/salt which isn't a common ingredient, and is enough of a distinct spice to own in bulk, only because if you are doing a boil, you need fucking cups of this shit.

Everglades is really good, it's popular along the Gulf Coast among hunters and fishers. It's not as salty as Tony's. The original, the spicy and the fish and chicken are all really good. I haven't tried the other one.
