I used to be jealous of my friends who got lunchables. I was on the lunch program for most of elementary school but my mom would pack me healthy lunches with cute notes and stuff; when not super poor, my mom would go above the call of duty and pack salads, good sandwiches, etc.

Kids made fun of me for my 8/10 lunches and in hindsight they were just jealous their parents didnt even love them enough to pack then actual food.

Its definitely a white trash thing. Lunchables are disgusting.

nachos and the original cracker stackers were the best. those hotdogs and burgers were fucking nasty. I was lukewarm on the pizza back when I didn't have a palate and I'm sure they are only worse now.
I actually do like those 'adult' lunchables made by Hillshire farms and are like salami and bagel chips. Those can be good when I don't want to shop or cook

The hot dogs are just smaller versions of the actual ones they make, so they were pretty acceptable. The burgers though tasted like chemicals/plastic. Probably from the liquid smoke they used to give the illusion of them being "grilled".
