Because they're pretty mediocre at best? like, i think snobbishness over chain places is dumb, some of em can be quite good if you know what to get. But for a place that advertises their burgers, it's easily one of the weakest parts of the menu. We live in America, i can spit on a map and find three better burger places than fucking red robbin.

I ONLY JUST FOUND OUT LAST WEEK THAT THEY TOOK AWAY THE A1-PEPPERCORN BURGER I HOPE THOSE FUCKERS DON'T SLEEP A WINK UNTIL IT COMES BACK

Because like lots of these chains they are overpriced for the quality and amount of food you get. I was thinking about going there because theres one less than 15 min from me but I cant bring myself to do it because I know im gonna be disappointed.

except unless you camp your server isn't going to give you more than two servings. it's also been 4 or 5 years since I went with my bro when it was our thing but the serving of those went down from a regular size to the amount you'd fit in a wrist bracer. granted the seasoning makes them really good but they decreased the size around the time they pumped up the price of the meal. i'd have coughed up the shekels for one more a1-peppercorn though, even if I could just make my own ;_;

I get sick whenever I go there. I always feel sick to my stomach afterwards. Do they put something weird in the burgers?

One of the worst fucking restaurants I've ever been to. I've only been there once, I ordered what was essentially the exact same sandwich I got at Safeway on a regular basis at the time and it was twice the price and nearly inedible. Everything was oversalted, the decor was offensively tacky (and that's something I normally don't even notice), and I heard like 3 painful renditions of happy birthday by downtrodden employees within the roughly 1 hour that I was there. Awful awful awful.
