Post discontinued stuff you loved, or foods that you can’t find again.

Pic related. They’re Japanese honey flavored candies that had a honey-caramel center. I have no idea what they were called because I can’t read moon runes, but I’ve found stock photos online of just the candies by themselves. There’s not much I wouldn’t do to find a reputable seller for these bastards.

There were a lot of early 2000s snacks I loved that were just lost to time, like stackers and Oreo cakesters, but I feel like this is one of the only ones that I would still enjoy as an adult.

in the 90s, Virgin (yes, virgin airlines/hotels) tried to go into the soda business.Their bottles were shaped after a womans bust (allegedly Pamela Anderson's).

I was only 11 then but boy these sodas were aggressive AF. I loved drinking them. Very sweet and extremely gassy, it was like fanta but on steroids. The venture closed down after a year or so and these dont exist anymore.

Now I know what you're about to say. "But snocaps still exist!" No. Those are not the same, and fail completely at representing what non-pareils are about. It's a big chocolate wafer, you put it on your tongue and let the chocolate melt and the little sugar balls slide down and it's a great feeling. Or, you put it the other way and let the chocolate melt through the little balls and it's still a great feeling. Snocaps don't give you any of that, they're too small, you get a mixture of chocolate and sugar balls and there's no planning to it, you might as well just eat a spoonful of chocolate icing at that point.

An Asian market in central Ohio. Every time I head down south, I make it a point to visit and check if they have them. They came in some white packaging with gold accents, and a cross section drawing of the candy showing its liquid center. The candies themselves were individually wrapped in transparent plastic.
Photos of the candies from shutterstock come up when you google “Japanese honey caramel candy”, but I can’t find anything that says what they’re called. I’m thinking about just contacting whoever made the stock photos of the candy to see if they know what it’s called.

I'm pretty sure artificial lime flavoring is going completely extinct, or otherwise contains some ingredient that is becoming increasingly rare and expensive.

I'll never forget the day Skittles changed their standard green flavor from lime to apple.
Almost everything green is artificial apple now, or sometimes watermelon; anything to avoid lime, it seems.

It really sucks because I hate artificial apple and watermelon but love artificial lime.
