burger barons are all owned and run by a lebanese family. The one in carstairs is prettty good and always busy, Hanna has one but never been just drive by it. And i think red deer has one too. The one in crossfield got shut down years ago, the owner was into drugs.

Halifax is comfy but the real estate market is out of whack because hundreds of thousands of Toronto yuppies have had the same idea. I think they have kind of fallen off their pedestal. Lil Empire Burger has two locations now, one in the Annex Ales Tap Room off macleod trail and 42nd ave se, and then one in bridgeland.

Otherwise I would give Modern Burger on 8th ave and centre street a go. They have a Waygu burger and its phenomenal.
