No. It's not even lamb. It's roast beef in pita. That isn't what a fucking gyro is

Hey dummy, apparently you are unaware that you can get a “Greek Gyro” which is gyro meat or you can order “roast beef gyro” An Arby’s Greek gyro will do in a pinch but it’s not as good as a gyro from a real Greek place and the problem isn’t the meat, the pita bread leaves a lot to be desired https://arbys.com/our-menu/signature/greek-gyro

I guess, the last time I ate one was back in June when my gf broke up with me...she ended things on june 5th and I went like two whole entire weeks barely eating a single thing, I had no appetite...then one day I decided to go to Arby's and get some comfort food and chose the gyro. it was depressing because I couldn't taste it and was really only eating it for sustenance...I thought it was ok aside from that

The undercooked flatbread paired with shredded lettuce really overwhelms the meat. It's nasty. Get a gyro literally anywhere else.

They're based. Also the Loaded Italian. RIP to the Chicken cordon bleu sandwich

>> No.14820195

No, it was disgusting. They were out of the gyro beef so I had to decide between turkey or roast beef, chose the roast beef. What a mistake that was should have just gone with the classic roast beef n cheddar wit 50 horse sauces

With the coupon, you're paying $3 each.
The gyro place that does a very good job near me charges around $8 each. Shaved meat off the rotisserie, grilled on the flat top to further enhance, good quality tomatoes, ample onions, house made tzatziki.

Arby's won't kill you, but it's on par with a frozen home gyro meal kit. Unspectacular; not good enough to seek out, not bad enough to prefer starvation instead of eating a free one.
As others have said, the pita really brings it down. It'd be better to put the fillings on a bun.

No worries.
Try it if you've got the coupon; see for yourself.
There will likely be some overflow sauce to dip your fries in, which is pretty good.
Buffalo chicken slider is probably better, and you still get overflow sauce, just a different sauce.
