Lived here my entire life, fingerlakes region. People suck, everyone is an asshole here. I never noticed until I went down south, it's a culture shock. However, the food is good, I live near the Syracuse area (not in syracuse, it's a nigger shithole) and we have a lot of good restaurants, burger joints, pizza, delis and even a few good BBQ places. Wegmans is always the best for groceries, and their subs are great and good sized. Winters here suck because of the lake effect snow but fall is beautiful albeit short. Lot of cloud cover, not the sunniest place in the nation. Can't think of anything else to tell you OP. Oh we have good local beer and fingerlakes area is known for the wine.

The local beer scene is interesting. Ommegang is kind of cringe but that whole circuit of breweries near Cooperstown has some highlights. Plus you get the random cider mills on the side of the road which can be down right delightful if you find yourself stuck driving through Amish country

Why do people get so butthurt about being a minority?
