Fuck man, I need to start making proper breakfasts. Ever since I started working swing shift my whole routine has been fucked up.

"american" breakfast is ciggies and a can of coke on your way to hell.

not that often, I really prefer eating breakfast for dinner when I do eat a typical american breakfast. Every so often I will make something like pic. I usually don't have much for breakfast otherwise and I eat an early lunch. Occasionally I will have a coffee and a piece of cinnamon walnut coffee cake in the morning.

are you me? never even met another person who works swing shift. started earlier this year and it's ruining my life. think I seriously consider killing myself before work every day. Silicone has better stick resistance. I would choose one of that variety over stainless. If I were using a ring to make burger patties, then I would choose stainless, because it doesn't bulge when pushed on, but for eggs, get the rubber kind.

Just watch your temperature, though. Most silicone products are only good up to 530degF, but you can easily reach 570degF in a frying pan, even with an electric range.

Most days it's just 2 eggs and glass of OJ. Sometimes I add half a slice of cheese and hot sauce to the eggs.

I work swings in a hospital and its terrible. The shift is so busy we get the evening and night rush while 1st and 2nd shift chill. The shift fucks with my sleep and eating schedule

I like making a two egg omelet with cheese and diced jalapeños and using about a third of it for an egg sandwich on a toasted English muffin with salsa. If I happen to cook up some bacon or sausage I put that on the sandwich, too.

I understand that mental block but cooking a couple of eggs and putting some bread in the toaster only takes about five minutes and it makes you feel more energetic in the morning. Just plan it around a fifteen minute block to account for eating it and chilling out five minutes afterwards.
