the only good hot sauce I've had here in australia that was spicy and flavorful was from an independent butcher in a middle of nowhere town that made his own stuff and now I'm too far away from there to get more without dedicating a whole day to getting one bottle

I actually have a hot sauce collection, and I enjoy trying out the various flavors. I've found I like the flavor profiles of a lot of the South American hot sauces over the typical American cayenne + vinegar. Fruit and veggies really round out a hot sauce, and more producers should use them. Scovillefaggotry is gay.
