I do this sometimes, you ever have problems getting stuff you need? How about them picking bad produce? It's definitely cool but I can't imagine being so much of a mutant as to do it every time.

I have, too, for something like 5 years. I hate grocery shopping. The last time I went a drunk followed me around the store talking to me and the time before that it was an old Mormon lady trying to convert me. I get run over by old people with their shopping carts. The only time I don't have an all out horrible time shopping is if I drag my boyfriend with me and that's because he's a beaner with resting murder face.

Delivery can be iffy but if it saves me the time and hassle then by God I'll pay some small fees and tip big if the person is even remotely reasonable at their job.

amazon prime now shopper here. yeah, we get so many orders a day that we dont really give a shit about picking the best out of the bunch.
if someone wants like 5 apples, we will just grab whatever 5 we want. as long as it fulfills the order, thats all that matters.
this goes with meat and seafood stuff as well. we dont ask to get the best cuts, whatever weight the customer wants, we will just take anything.

1. I did this for half a year back in 2016
2. It was ridiculously overpriced
3. 80% of the time they pick bad produce, meat or get the wrong item
4. You really gotta tip well if you want good service
5. You're at the mercy of the platform and the online databases full of stuff. You don't have as many options as going to the store.
6. Paging through your options is often slower than just going thru the sections of a store and grabbing your brand right away.
7. I got fatter and my social skills diminished during this period of my life

I wouldn't recommend it.
