You either have to go full white trash or full fancy. Both are amazing but you can’t half-ass fancy and you can’t try to dress up white trash.

2 slices kraft American cheese (don’t go for store brand cuz it’s cheaper. It tastes weirdly sweet. this is the one time I support buying brand)

Butter softened and spread on outside before pan
Sourdough or tomato basil bread
Softened jalapeño cream cheese or a cream cheese with some kind of spice or spread (like mustard)
1 slice yellow cheese
1 slice white cheese
If your yellow cheese is sharp, pick a mellow white cheese and vice versa

White bread is fat people that like their sugar bread. Get a low sugar wheat or grain, something with extra texture and flavor. If the bread comes in a paper bag at a super market chain, don't trust it, it's just "artisanal" to add $4 onto the price tag.
