Since you fags have forgotten, allow me to remind you the superiority of the cuban cigar over the flimsy cigarette:

Cigar
>Big and beefy
>Weighs more than three pounds
>100% tobacco
>Silver/gold tag inscribed with year and name of prestigious torcedors
>Smoked by gentlemen

Cigarette
>Toothpick
>Barely weighs a gram
>Tarnished with 7000 chemicals and tar
>Boring beige and white, mass produced by soulless corporations
>Smoked by edgy kids and hookers

So...which way, tobacco smoker?

Unless you're a cowboy rolling your own in an old western, I've always found cigarettes to be so feminine. Even in Scorsese movies, DeNiro barely pulls it off in Goodfellas. Cigars are manly. I used to smoke those tipped cigarillos from time to time when I was a young badass. I just liked the way they tasted. But in general I don't get down with tobacco at all, except for the occasional Hookah.

Ask for a more mild cigar, and smoke it slowly. Cigar's are meant to be smoked over the course of 40-60 minutes, sometimes 80. You can always just let the cigar naturally burn out and re-light it later. When you start to feel light-headed, that's a signal for you to slow or stop your puffing. What also helps is drinking something high in sugar, the sugar for some reason counters the spins.

>> No.14724897

>>14722546
When I was a smoker I always rolled my own. After years you get really good at it. I still love seeing movies where the actors cannot roll a good cigarette, nor could they find anyone on set to roll a decent one for them. You would think a stoner could roll a good cigarette, but usually they can't either. They hold it or smoke really badly. You have to go back to much earlier movies to see people smoking effortlessly because all the old Hollywood actors smoked. Cigar smoking in movies suffers the same thing. A lot of actors hold it like like it's a sacred wand prop of penis and squint, watery-eyed with every puff. Pretty silly stuff.

Nah
The problem with cigarettes is there's no actual tobacco leaf in them anymore.
They're stuffed full of special paper that burns consistently that's been soaked and flavored with tobacco juice plus other chemicals to make them more addictive and cheaper to make.
When a pack of cigarettes is nearly $60 in most countries and taxed to all hell they'll go to extreme lengths to cut costs.

Pipes for me. I like cigars, but having started with pipe smoking, I still can't wrap my head around cigars as anything other than an occasional treat due to the price. A pipe costs like 30 cents to fill.

I've had four cigars in my life, all but one was cheap, the expensive one was some cuban one I got from a boomer who imported it or some shit. I don't actually know where it was from but it was expensive as fuck and he had to pick them up from the post office and show ID and all that, despite being clearly 70+. He just gave some out for fun.

Anyway I wanna buy some decent ones online. Any good websites?

Most online places do sample packs with 4 or 5 cigars (sure you could spend more and get more). Get one with different styles and see what you like.
For reference, a 60 - 90 min smoke would be a cigar in the mid 40s ring guage and 4" to 5" length.

Read this you delusional piece of shit:
> For every gram of tobacco smoked, there is more cancer-causing tar in cigars than in cigarettes.
https://www.cancer.gov/about-cancer/causes-prevention/risk/tobacco/cigars-fact-sheet

If you think that all the scientific data is wrong and all this is a lie to control people or whoever, read this from a cigar smoker:
>About an inch and a half into the cigar I started to notice some tar droplets on the cut head.

craving a drug in the same way you crave food kinda... sounds... like... addiction.

Since you are wired to find food rewarding.

And addiction uses that same reward system to get you to do something not survival oriented.

Only way I'd ever smoke cigarettes is RYO. And only then as like a quick smoke after lunch or mid-afternoon. The problem people get into with them is when they chain smoke, and sticking to RYO makes that difficult.

Cigars and pipes are way better, though.

>>14733867
Tar is really only a problem when you inhale it into your lungs. Most people who smoke cigars (or pipes, for that matter) don't inhale. There's a reason why the cancer rate in cigar smokers is *much* lower than cigarette smokers (pipe smokers are even lower: the cancer rate in moderate pipe smokers is barely higher than the population at large), and even then it's more oral cancers than lung. Nicotine itself isn't actually a carcinogen as such, either, though it can promote tumor growth.

> Tar is really only a problem when you enale

Stop fooling yourself

>All cigar and cigarette smokers, whether or not they inhale, directly expose their lips, mouth, tongue, throat, and larynx to smoke and its toxic and cancer-causing chemicals. In addition, when saliva containing the chemicals in tobacco smoke is swallowed, the esophagus is exposed to carcinogens. These exposures probably account for the similar oral and esophageal cancer risks seen among cigar smokers and cigarette smokers

Never heard this, sounds like it might be legit though because with horses, cowboys would put tobacco in their horses eyes if it looked like it had been infected or irritated by a parasite or infection. It would often save the horses eyesight.

Eating it and applying it to wounds are two different things. You'll most likely just barf it up if you manage to swallow. However, taking ground, chewed tobacco and applying it to wasp stings and other maladies does actually work

Not only that, it's volume too. I seriously can't understand how some people go through a whole cigar in a few hours, it's so much tobacco. Plus it's so much of a fucking commitment. I usually only pack 1/4-1/3 bowls at a time. and that lasts a half hour or so. Take a break, maybe pack another one an hour later, maybe use a different tobacco if my taste changes.

>> No.14738034

>>14738029

Yeah when I go for cigars I keep it to the smallest ones above cigarillos, and that will last me a good hour.
