I like both. I'd imagine we do them a little more simply than do the French.

Snail: toss about with garlic in a mix of olive oil and butter then add wine and LOTS of parsley. Done. Alternately, stuff each snail individually with garlic-and-parsley-infused butter and stew/steam/whateverthetermwouldbeinEnglish with wine. We eat it with bread.

Frog: sauté with garlic and fresh laurel in olive oil then finish with lemon. We eat it with rice or cornmeal.

I took my gf to Paris in 2016 and we ate it there. BTW Paris is just a shitty, dirtier version of Manhattan with better restaurants and more homeless brown people. I've never felt afraid in NYC, I kept thinking about which fucking Syrian was going to shoot up my Uber or drive a truck into our restaurant. Musée d'Orsay was beautiful though.

German here, I like the Italian kitchen for being... light, I guess. It's filling, but you don't fall asleep immediately after. Though it shares that particular trait with other cuisines in the mediterranean area (for the burgers, that's roughly the countries with a coastline to the body of water below Europe), I always preferred Italian. I also enjoy pizza, don't get me wrong, but every civilization at some point though to put stuff on bread. It's not what makes it unique.
Also, you can eat their food on a hot day without dying from heatstroke.
