I don't know what to tell you, it's literally the coast of a gulf, throw in all fresh water that runs into it and of course the water's going to be muddy in most coastal areas. Once you go out far enough past any islands the water gets much more blue and clear. Florida's pretty nice if you want clear, bluer waters.
