The non-dessert food is generally healthy, albeit a bit starchy due to the excessive amount of rice and bread. Unfortunately, 80% of the South Asians I see are disgustingly overweight - and living in the west end of Toronto, I see a hell of a lot - simply because they meme themselves about how healthy it is and eat way too much of it.
