I don't think I ever respected him, but I realized just how stupid, small minded, judgemental and socially inadequate he was during the Great Escapes India tour. He went on and on about butter chicken and his preconceptions when everyone knows it's a Britain thing only. I tend to also disrespect the intelligence of anyone who uses profanity for every adjective even in the face of educated local people who are obviously cringing and offended. Screaming at people who he can't communicate with just screams learning disabled.

>street food
Yes, butter chicken did translate back to india and is now a common menu item, but nobody in their right mind would eat butter chicken on the street if it was anyone other than gordon ramsay. Indian ppl worship this guy and are obsessed with the idea of pleasing him and I wouldn't doubt it if some of them strongly disliked it. I do appreciate that he's wary of the locals potentially not liking it

Sad, right?
