look, it was nice in the 1930s, went half shit in the 50s and 60s, 70s and 80s were pretty good, especially considering how bad Boston was in those days. started to go shit in the 90s and only just the last 5 or so years had had a resurgence; all the shut shops and crime neighbourhoods started turning into night life, restaurants, breweries, etc. they're even building that ill-advised Polar Park which is basically replacing the ugliest trashiest most derelict block in the whole city.
