A recipe is no good if it requires an ingredient only obtainable in bulk that you won't use before it expires. You've got to plan ahead.
No point buying a head of celery for bolognese which only uses half a stick if you're not committed to other celery recipes.

Tuesdays used to be waffle night with my girlfriend. We would get a bunch of fresh berries and whipped cream and EIGHT different kinds of syrup to choose from. Even have a heart shaped waffle maker.

Yea, sat I usually go to chick fil A or I'll get taco bell sunday I'll get popeyes or I'll get panda express and eat a shit ton of fries. mon-fri I eat whole grain oatmeal for breakfast with berries, lunch and dinner I eat vegan meals like rice and mixed vegetables. My favorite meal is a ceasar salad with croutons and grilled kickin chicken diced in.

I used to have pizza days every Friday as a kid

I had the chik-fil-a sandwich once in Texas and once in Washington state and both times it was incredibly underwhelming. I'm not the kind of guy who claims allegiance to fast food franchises but the Popeye's one seemed way more flavorful than CFA.

What's the big deal about it? I tried brining+frying my own chicken and doing the sauce myself and it was way better than expected. What's so special about the Chik one?

The Popeye's sandwich is much more simple than CFA. It just has the buns, fried chicken, sauce and pickles.

The CFA is great but the chicken just doesn't taste as good at least in my opinion.

Pre-pandemic, Mondays were donut mornings for me. A sweet treat helped ease the pain of having to go back to work after the weekend.

Not really a day but the only food I don't eat at any time of the day is cereal in the morning.
I will eat ice cream for breakfast or steak or pasta or oatmeal or really anything for breakfast but not cereal.

I've developed a tradition of getting a bahn mi every saturday for lunch. I don't know why, but the vietnamese region of my town is really nice and even with all this social distancing mask wearing stuff it's very pleasant and social down there.
