This is not the first time I've seen Steak N Shake touted as one of the "premium" burger places. It's not. Steak N Shake is poverty row. The one by me is an absolute fucking disaster zone. Last time I was inside my waitress cried, so I had to have sex with her to cheer her up.

Last time I went through the drive-thru I waited nearly half an hour for three milkshakes. It is the dirtiest restaurant I have ever sat inside of. and their burgers are just fine. Above McDonald's but beneath a place like Culver's, and I would think of Culver's as still being one tier down from Five Guys, In-N-Out, Shake Shack or Smashburger.
