Most countries have mediocre food. It isn't a British thing. Not everywhere can be a China or Italy or India. It's meat and vegetables, not particularly well cooked, yes, but it's a fine meal if done properly. And I wonder why British cuisine gets so much attention while other equal or worse cuisines (most places, the world over) get a free pass? Obsessed.

I really would like to make sunday roast or go to a place that serves it. I don't really know a place in Texas though. I had it when I did a homestay in Britain as a kid and loved it.

Those beans and carrots hurt my feelings they are so fucking gross why even put them on the plate especially if you want to post it. Nice dumplings pudding and gravy though.
