There's a lot of ways you can screw up eggs unl;ess you hard boil them. If you want to "not suck at cooking" start with stews, casseroles, roasts, etc. They might seem more complex at first glance but they're very forgiving, and are also more rewarding in my opinion.

First answer these two questions:

1.) Can you read?
2.) Are you able to understand what it is you're reading?

Because if you ARE capable of reading and understanding the words that you read, you SHOULD be able to follow basic recipes.

If you've go enough brain matter between your ears to read a recipe and follow it when it tells you to do something, you SHOULD be able to cook basic things like eggs.
