Sure, a lot of my coworkers are Jewish as I work in a pretty Jewish part of Seattle. Maybe the Seattle Jewish community is just extra reasonable, but many of them have become great friends over time.

i had a jewish girl in my college group of friends. she said her grandmother once gave her an orange as a christmas gift (in retrospect maybe christmas just wasn't a big deal in her family, being jewish and all)
also one time we went on a weekend-long vacation to a house in the mountains we'd rented and we were using her laptop to play music on and her parents kept calling her all weekend to ask her if we the laptop was okay.
she herself was kind of annoying and nasally and loud but i never thought she was a bad person. from stories i got the impression her family were cunts though. also she's in israel now.

is shitty landlords an american thing or is this sentiment just part of the recent wave of commie larping coming from america? cause here in eastern europe, where you figure people would be scum in general, landlords really aren't that bad. i've had one sleazeball that wouldn't fix the stovetop that couldn't get water to the boiling point and then tried to charge me for it when i moved out (he backed off when i wouldn't do it). but all the rest have been polite, understanding if i were a bit late on rent and always fixed their shit when it broke. one even installed improvements to the place while i was there, like "this cabinet is getting old, how about i get a new one" etc.
