I've not done 200, but I've done a fair few.
There is a wide variance in quality. Some of the stuff is complete garbage, some is delicious.
And there's lost of re listings of the same dish with a different sauce or protein, or a slightly different veggie combination. So there's far fewer distinct dishes than you would think.

Many inmates get tons of fast food and several liters of soda. Some just get all their sweet tooth fix of store candy. Twice an inmates final meal was a single olive with the pit still inside

Its not just Chinese, I went to a Vietnamese restaurant and they had a massive menu. Very intimidating and a good enough reason to not go back.

My experience has been that if the restaurant is pre-80s, you can pretty much order anything and they'll make it. If it's new blood (and the staff doesn't even pretend to understand Cantonese, lol) they're usually hardline on folliwing the menu.

Americans have no idea how bad it really is. No one in china knows what the fuck beef and broccoli is or sweet and sour pork. Chinese food is disgusting. Literally the worst parts to eat of any animal. Makes sense because chinks are the race of humans closest to animals. They make disgusting noises when they eat, slurp everything, men in the streets lift their fucking wife beaters over their sweaty stomachs while laughing and chewing with their mouths full of food. Like what kind of idiot decided 2 sticks is the most practical way to eat grains of fucking rice. Starving Nigerians who eat grass have a better diet than the average chinese.
