Shiner used to be a great beer but quality started slipping almost 20 years ago when they got bought out by anheiser busch. Technically it's still a texas beer it is still made in Shiner, Texas, but really its owned my inbev and has giant distribution. I'm sure coasties can get it.

>> No.14367634

Shiner is the least offensive of the mass produced Texas beers. Karbach as a company is grossly overrated unless you're one of those mooks who thinks IPAs are good (they aren't, and this is coming from a person who drinks coffee because he's genetically able to taste the acidity and loves how bitter it is), although Weekend Warrior is one of my favorite beers. All of my favorite beers come from either the West or East coast, though.

>>14367238
>OP says coasties will never UNDERSTAND
>idiots in the thread start talking about how you can buy it every where
Who exactly is supposed to be stupid? You literally can't even understand what the OP is trying to say, which is that you'll never get what makes Shiner enjoyable. You're too busy being up your own asses.

Anyone can understand what makes something enjoyable or not based on tasting it, which thanks to multiple regional distribution deals, now most of the continental US can do. You aren't uniquely positioned to enjoy a beer because it's your local variant
