Which of these do you find necessary for pizza (assuming it's the type of pizza you would use with it)?

When I was little I would use the dried parm and pepper flakes, but honestly none of them are good.

I put garlic and chili peppers on everything after a few bites in order to get some variety. Eating a slice gets boring after a while.

pepper, obviously. is that garlic or something over there? i never understood putting dried crumbled cheese on a dish consisting of bread and cheese. i dont need fake parmasan on my fake mozzarella

The red pepper flakes are good, and the oregano can be as well, provided it's not been sitting in that jar for like five years until it loses all its flavor.

I'll defend ranch. I went to college at U of Iowa (go Hawks!) and had ranch with pizza and cheesy breadsticks all the time. From Gumby's pizza.

Parmesan and pepper flakes should be all you need. Parmesan lets you alter the cheesiness, pepper flakes let you decide if you want it a little spicy.

If you have to add you own garlic and herbs, the pizza place has failed its part in making the pizza

>>14364698
It's usually like 96% cheese and then 4% cellulose to stop it from caking. But some brands added more than what's legally allowed because they're cheap assholes and could get away with it for a while before getting caught. You're still better off buying a block of cheap parmesan or romano and grating it yourself.

that's because 1/8 tsp of garlic powder is equivalent to an entire clove. it's easy to overdo it. i usually prefer fresh garlic for most things but garlic powder is okay as long as you realize how potent it is.

I went out to dinner with a nice but racist old lady once. She asked for Tabasco. They didn't have that, but they brought out some kind of spicy oil that blew my mind. I wish I could remember what exactly it was.
Anyway, red pepper and oregano. Maybe Parm depending on how I'm feeling, but it's certainly not necessary.
