Not only is it good on its own, but it's also an extremely handy ingredient to use on other things.

I just mixed it with some canned sardines and used it as a sauce for my gnocchi. The smokiness and garlicky flavors are normally a good addition to most things.

For a long time I thought baba ganoush was a name or a made up word due to MXC.
