their curry is just watered soup
ramen is just inferior version of authentic Chinese noodles

The guy went to where the money was. He lived in Japan when the KMT took over and took ROC citizenship so he wouldn't lose all his properties in Taiwan. Then after hitting it big in Japan, took citizenship there. I feel like he'd be the sort of guy to bail and claim Monaco citizenship to avoid taxes.
