I’m American but stargazy pie probably tastes amazing. It’s a creamy fishy pie, how could that be bad? Imagine being in a dimly lit British pub by the ocean on a winter night, having a pint of beer and then they bring this thing out. I really want to try it. It has a comfy folkloric story to go along with it too.

Proper British food still looks like shit that was hastily prepared in someone's basement in the 1940s as the germans could be dropping bombs at any moment. it's always like "boiled eel & jellied beans over toast"

English cuisine is an affront to all the senses. It's so fattening and nasty looking. I do like a good savory pie, but the english manage to fuck it up time and time again.

Not a fan of takeaway curry with a side of jellied eel

You do you mate, I wouldn't touch that thing with a barge pole, and it supposedly was invented by my country.
