How do I keep spaghetti from sticking together after boiling and draining it?

Its sticky until it is sauced. So, toss in and combine with some sauce, immediately before it sticks. You are literally going to go from drainer right to plating, with a ladle of sauce, or else tossing in sauce.

If you are running some quick prep shortcuts kind of low quality sbarro sort of cafeteria, where waiting a literal 8 minutes for food is too long, like a school lunch room, clearly making food ahead, you could oil the pasta, but don't expect oiled pasta to ever have sauce stick to it properly.

You physically make the boiled pasta last thing that you do. That's the order that you do things. If you want to do things ahead? You make a casserole, and those shells, ziti, lasagna, etc in the oven.

don't be a lazy ass and abandon the pot. stir well and regularly until the noodles are moist enough to all fit in the pot. I know the difference in my stirring technique that never produces stuck together noodles and my spouses lazy put it in the pot and walk away, maybe stir once, then wonder whytf all the noodles are stuck together while swearing you stirred it.
