so I recently went vegan and my dairy cravings are coming back, what are good alternatives to pizza or cheese and yogurt?

plant based cheese is actually pretty decent on pizza as far as I've tried. of course it will be one bland ass pizza if you don't have quality vegetables to put on. that being said they really lack the complex flavours and variety of dairy cheese. but if you just want a replacement for murrican "cheese" it's easy, as it's 90% soy already, just look for any plant based cheese that melts.

I like soft cheese like cream cheese or farmers cheese. is there a way to make that at home without wasting a bunch if money on nuts?
I know Miyako or miyoko has a brand, but I can't find that in stores

Go source some high quality dairy from a good farm.
Pic related: Look at this beautiful butter. This butter came from a carefully selected a2/a2 heritage jersey cow who eats the highest quality pasture, and no, she didn't get her baby taken away, and no, she wasn't artificially inseminated. Look at this gorgeous summer butter. You will never replicate this with plants. Only a ruminant can turn plants into the dairy you crave.

"Vegan" cheese uses cashews which are processed by slaves who's fingers turn black and rot from the caustic acid in the cashew shell.

You didn't go vegan. Stop make up problems for yourself. Cheese and milk still exist.

There are plant-based alternatives. There is no problem eating vegan junk food like frozen vegan pizzas.
I had similar cravings, but after a while, it just went away.

>Solanaceae aka nightshades, a family of plants of which many are incredibly toxic
Lectins are an anti nutrient/ defense mechanism found in many plants, especially grains, seeds, and legumes (aka baby plants)

The only homemade vegan cheese sauce recipe I tried just used nutritional yeast and oats in a blender with some spices. It was not as filling as real cheese because neither of those are fatty, but it had a decent taste.
For any good homemade cheese replica, you'd need it to be fatty and also sour. Also ferment them.

If you've ever heard of Spermatozoa, it's not super common but I think as far as dairy cravings for vegan diets go, it should be an excellent supplement for milk/cheese for you.

Nutritional yeast with pureed nuts, cashews work best, can get close, but you've got to put it in the fridge for a while and it doesn't melt well, but heats decently.

no offense but are you a pregnant woman?

I'm no vegan and I drink milk, but I can't imagine ever craving dairy. Dairy is more like a fruit or dessert, I sometimes eat it just because (and could easily do without). Meat on the other hand is an actual craving

Idk why this woman would dye her butter, she doesn't even sell it. LOL

:( I'm sorry you hate yourself so much. I think both humans and animals are great. A well cared for animal can take very good care of me and the Earth! Maybe you should stop eating imported processed shit and produce your own food and stop being a consumer slave to robber barons (now called philanthropists) who only care about your money and could give fuck all about your welfare.

Life is a beautiful thing once you start feeding yourself right. I suggest starting with some high quality, well sourced, self certified ethical eggs.

Pic related was 2.50 a dozen from a biking distance neighbor who free ranges all her gorgeous birds. No male culling either! The shiny roosters were confidently strutting along side their ladies, no confinements or even a fence! The birds went wherever they liked and came home to sleep in a nice shelter at night

Oh, whats that? You live in an overpopulated concrete inorganic sharp angle hellscape also known as a city? Well flee. Run. Become a rural refugee. They need people in the countryside. Especially young people with innovative minds.
