forgot to mention his summer sausage and garlic aioli as well. here's my attempt at summer sausage. it looks more like a loaf because i don't have the technical skill to make it rounder on all sides. and it's not as pink and pretty but i suppose that might be because i don't have curing salt and i only use pork and not beef.
everybody loves it though. we all agree it reminds us of a cold cut from our childhoods but no one can put their finger on it exactly.
