I asked at my local about a recipe once and they told me what they used and where they bought it, the chinese wholesalers they recommended has fuckloads of jars of satay sauce and satay spice mix, whatever yours uses is likely premade too, just google your nearest chinese supermarket and see what they have in stock, no doubt it's something they sell too.
