What's the best BBQ sauce, and what would you say are the key types of BBQ sauce? I've had Open Pit and Sweet Baby's, and they taste so different it's like they could be two different types of sauce all together.

The first ingredient in both of those is high fructose corn syrup. Come back when you've grown taste buds.

They still taste different retard. The first ingredient in pepsi and 7up is also HFCS, are you saying they're the same flavor? If you think so, you're the one with the retarded taste bugs

Nah, they both taste like nasty sugar syrup. You should probably start by cutting sugar water out of your diet if you want your taste buds to heal.

>caramel and lemon juice
But you admitted yourself that they're both hfcs. If you eat anything where the first ingredient is hfcs you clearly have broken taste buds. It's like if you said,
>holy shit, anon, can you really not tell that this shade of grey is slightly darker than that shade of grey? haha, are you blind"
And then I was like,
"of course I can tell that they're different. all i said was that they are both grey"
And then it turns out that you're actually color blind.

For me, its Arthur Bryant's. It definitely falls more on the acidic end of the sauce spectrum, but such good flavor means a little bit goes a long way.

I would describe it as thicc without being viscous. I can't really compare it to Memphis BBQ, but it being from Kansas City I can assure you that it's not St. Louis shit.

Use a good dry rub in conjunction with it for best results, shit even makes stovetop taste as good as the pit.
