Yeah dude totes. I come from Goa, pretty much the only place outside Brazil that grows cashew commercially. You've got to use it fresh. A good fruit will be nice and sweet, but most are insanely sour. We use it to make a bunch of regional alcoholic drinks. Lookup feni and urak. Goan equivalent of moonshine, often exceeding 60% from local distilleries.
