Add any salmon and I feel you. Also goosefish/monkfish are great, tastes almost like lobster. Finally sardines and anchovies are pretty based. Oh and Fugu or pufferfish is delicious! Go to Korea and find a fried puffer fish store if you can. I ate like 1lb with father in law while hammering soju.. was delicious! Fugu raw in japan was pretty good too, makes tongue tickle a tiny bit.

Fresh caught mackerel is the absolute best. At this time of the year I can head out to the mouth of the river and catch 10 mackerel in less than an hour and eat them through the week. It's best grilled, smoked, or fried with just some salt, pepper, and butter. Nothing comes close.

This all the way. Mackerel is an oily fish (just touching it to prep for cooking gets your hands all fishy) but when you cook it, the oil gives it a BUTTERY flavor and it's like magic. There aren't many bones to watch out for and the meat of the fish is thick and almost always juicy. It's really hard to fuck up mackerel. They don't need much seasonings either. Salt and pepper is all you need. I like to grill it, if I'm able. Otherwise broiled in the oven works too. Mackerel is absolutely one of the best fish. I don't even really like fish, but I can't resist mackerel.
