Spring onions have sprouted (pic related), still waiting on the parsley and coriander.

Also just purchased a bunch of other stuff, but we're in winter, so who knows if they'll grow.

Both would be good since they grow fast. But if it's hot there, your leafy greens might bolt (put out a flower stalk and turn bitter) quickly. Although if you want to grow them, I'd recommend chard or kale since the former tends to bolt slowly and the latter still tastes pretty good after bolting (and the flower buds are perfectly edible).

Based in Florida, it's taken me awhile to get a basic competence in gardening:
> adding year round green beans
> adding year round greens, maybe Jamaican spinach, maybe collards, kinda tempted to grow sweet potatoes for the greens
>Thyme, rosemary, oregano, Thai basil, green onions are strong
Thinking of growing some Thai veggies, one of their tomatoes maybe rather than a pepper or more basil. Trouble is converting the family to eating the stuff you grow, and doing that in the span of harvest. Still, exciting to see more grocer categories eliminated. Good growing, Anons!

I have a small patch...5 tomato plants, 3 pepper plants, some onions and some lettuce. After initial set up on average a week I spend like 5 minutes a day on it. That includes watering everyday and feeding on the weekends.

Also included, the most of my time spent is keeping squirrels out, and that involves sprinkling cayenne pepper in the beds after every rainfall. So far its worked.

Am pretty terrible at gardening but have been enjoying it in Southern California. Put in 5 big Aloe Plants at the beginning of quarantine I somehow almost murdered. Many many tomatoes, 4 eggplants, and a tiny tiny watermelon (only one to sprout out of 20 seeds.) Mom is the gardener she has potatoes, radishes, trees, onions, and grapes.
