McDonalds in Bahrain had McArabic which was pretty good chicken on flatbread. Korea had "Shangai fried chicken" sandwich which was really good, with a spicy mayo... I think they stopped making it.. Now mcdonalds in SK just has this 1955 burger which is pretty boring. Burger king has standard American in SK nothing special. A fun burger chain in Japan called MOS Burger is pretty based, have this spicy tomato sauce burger. Lotte burger in Sk has this T rex burger which is like a lb of fried chicken its ok. Hmm.. Also Moms Touch in South Korea has banging chicken sandwiches. I go to Korea/Japan ever summer (stupid virus this year maybe not) anyways McDonalds is rather boring in Asia. And in Asia they will give you 1 ketchup packet per order.. you order 10 large fries.. one packet thats it.. always have to beg for more. Mcdonalds in Japan had a curry sauce packet and a soy based one last time I was in Osaka. Ive heard Europe has best Mcdonalds special items. Oh and Friends in Korea love the bulgogi burger but I think it is a sloppy over sweet garbage, I hate it.

There's also a vegan wrap with a choice of either a soy patty or falafel, as well as falafel nuggets as a side dish. They also made sure their fries are 100% free of animal products unlike in America. These things have all happened in the last couple of years and now McD's of all places is legit looking like a viable option for vegans looking for a quick meal.

I remember seeing one explanation was that their own cuisine is much tastier and affordable, meaning mcdonalds and other fast food restaurants cant just sell the slop they usually do in north America. Thats why fast food in places like Asia tend to be very high quality, in order to attract customers.

I don't care if it bears no resemblance to actual raclette. I'm in the US and I tried one the sandwiches from Spain during the foreign sandwich promotion.
