I love cottage cheese, plain. I realize a lot of people dress it up. What do you put in it?

I just crack some pepper over it. Fuck daisy small curd cottage cheese though, shits all dry on the inside.

Black pepper, cajun seasoning salt and ketchup. Sometimes add a little soy sauce and sesame oil

>> No.14179242

A bit of sweet relish
or blackbean and corn salsa

I too like it best plain.
dressed up cottage cheese always tastes too salty, or the vinegar clashes with the cheese.

Maybe
carmelized onion
sesamie oil
walnuts
olive oil

What's the point of dressing it up? I eat it plain as a side dish, or just directly out of the tub with an iced tea spoon. I've seen lots of people adding shit, and I've tried lots of their suggestions, but if you enjoy cottage cheese there's nothing better than plain.

>if you enjoy beef, there's nothing better than plain
>if you enjoy broccoli, there's nothing better than plain
>if you enjoy pasta, there's nothing better than plain

This is amazing logic and I want to applaud you for it.

Speak for yourself. It was never implied that you could extrapolate that line of reasoning to anything else in particular. It obviously makes sense to ask, "how do you like to prepare this" or "what do you like to add to that", but cottage cheese is perfect as it is. Most cottage cheese threads are also started by retarded /fit/fags who are tastelets and are just looking for a way to choke it down as painlessly as possible, and those guys are losers. If anything, asking how to dress up cottage cheese is more analogous to asking how to dress up mint chip ice cream; it's already good, you don't need to add anything, and if you do it probably won't be an improvement.

I love cottage cheese, but I don't think most things taste too well in it. For me, it's one of the few foods that I am brand picky about, as I can't find any other cottage cheese as good as Knudsen's brand. It's texture and taste are bliss.

canned fruit. peaches are traditional but all i've tried have been great. make sure to get some of the syrup in there

Glad to see a bunch of plainchad master races in here. It's hard to see the ol 'tage 'eese discussed without a bunch of additions and most of the time when I tried those I would have rather had both separately. Although I must admit I added frozen raspberries in about a 1:1 ratio with the last half of a daisy container and mixed that and it was pretty amazing

This. Good brands make a HUGE difference in cottage cheese. I guarantee you that a good amount of people who think they dislike cottage cheese have only had some garbage brand of it.

Dark chocolate chips and a little sugar/honey, but only in sheep ricotta. It reminds me of cannoli
