Try their sausages (German brand Knack and bratwursts), Flax and Pumpkin cereal. Lot of good cheeses too. Their herring is good.

I'm only familiar with Aldi in Indiana and Georgia. The ones in Indiana accept cards now, not sure about the GA ones.

Here's my go-to Aldi load:

1) whatever looks good and fancies my pickle at that moment

2) cheese

3) maybe some bread or potatoes

4) see no. 1

I don't think I've ever bought more than ten items at a time.

I gave up going to Aldi. Ever since the beginning of the end began a few months ago, they are consistently out of stock on half the things I want.

There were some things missing from all the local grocery stores but Aldi literally was out of stock of more than half the shit I went there for. I even tried a different Aldi and it was the same result.

>> No.14160636

Get their solid white tuna. It is cheap as fuck. $1.15 a can in my area. That is cheap as shit when at every other store it is double. Their eggs are cheaper, milk.... Oh. They tend to have good paper towels when they are available. Boulder brand is great. Beans are the cheapest. Their produce sucks was but fuck it. Wine is decent for being $4.

Is your store still understocked? Mine has been back to normal for a few weeks. There is even rice and beans in great supply

Like I said, I gave up. My friend just went and had the same experience as I did...still lots of things out of stock. I've taken a liking to Ruler Foods which is an Aldi like store run by Kroger.

Bros there's no Aldi anywhere near me anymore since I moved out of state and I miss it. I love Aldi more than any other chain, even HEB and I'm Texan

REEEEEEEE SEASONAL ITEMS
I gained 10 pounds on the Stroopwafels that they sell during the fall. They've just gone out of stock for their Oyster Crackers that are a good value. The Oyster Crackers aren't specialty select but they still go out of season for half the year like they are.

I generally just pass through the produce and pick out what i need. bee line to the pizzas in the back to see if they have any that are discounted. Pick out some eggs. check out the freezer section for finds. pick up some rice. check out the food finds aisle and then the seasonal junk finds aisle

Sausages, cheese and chocolate are all great at Aldi, their euro chocolate in particular is pretty awesome.

They also have these 1kg economy bacon which isn't great bacon but it's all offcuts and shit and some of them end up double-thickness and stuff which is awesome in the pan.

Their coffee selection is pretty decent. I took some of the Barissimo ground coffee to work and everyone was exclaiming how good it smelled as it was percolating. Quite a step up from Folgers.
