Butter bells are THE SHIT if you eat butter nearly every day.

I have one but it doesn't do me any good because mold starts to develop due to my lazy ass not changing out the water or eating any of the butter. You gotta swap the water out at least every 3 days, which isn't that big of a task if you eat out of it every day. I probably need room temp butter like 3 times a month on average.

The water in a butter bell regulates temperature better.

I havent tried tupperware but I do have a butter crock and I've had enough butter go rancid/moldy that I think I am willing to try alternative methods.

The butter bell is an old method that worked before the industrial age. Now we have airtight containers so maybe those are better.

Some people here are saying that the butter gets mold or goes rancid quickly, so can you salt the water or something to make it last longer? Or is the problem the fats in the butter rather than the water?
